So this post is going to be rather short and sweet. We had a wonderful Easter and I dressed the boys up cute and took pictures. Naturally, of course, I just have to share them on my blog. We were lucky enough to have family and friends to come in from out of town to spend the weekend with us. It went from being sort of sad, because we are far from Dave’s parents now, to and exciting weekend surrounded by loved ones!
My dress is from Banana Republic. They boys clothes all came from Gymboree, minus their white shirts which I got from Walmart (they were dirty by noon). Dave’s shirt is Southern Tide and pants are AG from Nordstrom.
It took us many tries to get ONE decent picture of us. I cannot believe that this time last year Ace was a little baby. Time seems to be flying by! I did not get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny this year and I am feeling the mom guilt for it. In New Jersey we were always inside malls, so I would easily remember. This year- I spaced. 🙁
The boys had a great time hunting for Easter eggs. It is hard because there are definitely different levels of skills. Thankfully, Jett wanted the money eggs and Rex was happy with the candy filled eggs. Ace made a bit of an effort at first, then relegated to losing. In the end, we just gave him candy 🙂
We definitely enjoyed our first Easter in South Florida and while it may have not been traditional, memories were definitely made.
